"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello!

Greetings to you!

Thanks for your reading this.

I am Sgt. Jennifer Ivankovig Brunette, an American soldier serving in the US military at the Bagram Air Base. I am so sorry to encroach into your privacy in this manner. I got your email address and contact from a business and address journal. I found it pleasurable therefore, to connect with you and contact you for help.

I will be straight with you on why I am writing to you. During one of our routine patrols by my unit, we came across some militia jihadists, purely by accident with heavy fire arms who were killing elderly people and abducting children. But our higher military skills and power forced them to abandon the raid and moved to the mountains, destroying buildings to cover their tracks. One of the families we rescued were Jewish and rich "bureaux de change" business owners. And out of their benevolent hearts and joy of our gallantry, they joyfully handed back to us as a gift, a very huge safe we assisted them in recovering from the Jihadists. When we had time to personally inspect this safe later, we found out it contained a little less of a $100 Million.

Those of us in my unit who it was given to, splitted it amongst ourselves and I have my share of $15 Million privately secured and safe in two trunk boxes. Being a woman, I am a little bit worried and I cannot continue to hold it back here for long because of my active duty. I am always busy. So I need someone I can send it to. The guys in my unit have all sent out theirs. My late husband would have taken responsibility for this package but I lost him to the Fort Hood shooting. His painful death hurt me so much and made me join the military. So, right now I am determined to stand up for myself and make a good life. I want to have a very peaceful retirement, and maybe get married again someday.

I already set out plans on how to get it to you via a diplomatic courier only if you accept to help me. I only need your trust as there is no risk involved in this and it's 100% safe. I will give you more details on how it will work after I get a positive response from you. It is of mutual benefit; so once it gets to you, you are to take 30 percent of the total sum for yourself, and keep 60 percent for me, then donate the remaining 10 percent to any charity organization of your choice. I believe this is fair enough.

I would like to know more about you as well, as we need to build trust because it is important that I know in totality the personality upon whom I transact this deal with. You should understand my fears here as this involves a large sum of cash. Can you handle such an amount of money? I want this to be between the two of us, so please endeavor to keep it this way. If you are not capable of handling this huge sum then please do not allow me to courier them to you. I can find other means of dealing with it as I have done everything possible to make this a reality from this end. Please do not let me down.

Keep in mind at all times the need for confidentiality and absolute secrecy until we conclude this deal. Can you handle this? Get back to me ASAP if you are interested in doing this for me, so I can let you know how it will work. I shall send you pictures of myself before handing over to the courier. I will also make arrangements to come to meet with you once the trunk boxes have been handed over to you and the full money is in your custody.

I come in peace!
May God be with you always!
I await your response ASAP!

Best regards,
Staff sgt. Jennifer Ivankovig Brunette
