"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: URGENT ATTENTION NEEDE

My name is Barr. Frank Howard Miller one of the legal solicitor to the UNCC and the newly appointed person to the compensation of the losses and damage suffered as a direct result of Iraq’s unlawful invasion and occupation of Kuwait in 1990-91.
The United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC) was created in 1991 as a subsidiary organ of the United Nations Security Council under Security Council resolution 687 (1991) to process claims and pay compensation.
About 2.7 million claims, with an asserted value of $352.5 billion, were filed with the Commission. The Commission concluded claims-processing in 2005, and the total compensation awarded was $52.4 billion to approximately 1.5 million successful claimants. Nineteen Panels of Commissioners reviewed and evaluated the claims submitted by governments, international organizations, companies and individuals. The panels reported their recommendations to the Governing Council for approval.
To date, the Commission had paid out about $47.8 billion in compensation awards to successful claimants. There remains only one claim that has not been paid in full, with a balance of about $4.6 billion outstanding. And early this year your file was submitted to my office as the beneficiary to the sum of $96, 000, 000.00 United States Dollars and after due scrutiny, I find out your fund is approaching 8 years here in the Escrow settlement bank account and for this reason need a proper documentation before the fund could be released to you and because this is a compensation fund there will be a supportive clearance from the Treasury Department before the fund release.
The fund will be transfer to you via Federal Reserve Bank. But, note; the Federal Reserve Bank as you know do not operate individual banking but fosters payment and settlement for government issues such has compensation payment, Inheritance payment, Overdue payment etc, and the reason for using Federal Reserve Bank to settle those mention payment is because of the safety and efficiency of the payment.
As part of my continuous strive for perfection and due process of of your fund accreditation, I will need you to provide me with the below information;
First Name*:
Last Name*:
State of Origin*:
Nationality*:
Phone Number*:
Fax Number*:
