"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Truth Of The Matter

Dear Friend
I am barrister Noah Oliver a member of the united nation debts
reconciliation committee Minnesota USA, I was appointed by the united
nation governing body chaired by the united nation sectary general
António Guterres to investigate and supervise the fact finding
committee on petitions written and forwarded before the table of UN
sectary general António Guterres from foreign contractors regarding
the ways and manner in which their fully executed contract funds are
delayed and withheld by west African countries..

It was during the excise that a file with contract NO:001620 of
supplying Personal Safety and Protective Equipment valued at $10.5m
by a company named (Detail Industries Inc) was withheld by a west
African country, from our investigation you the contractor
died in plane crash together with your family members, and according
to the fact finding committee all effort to locate your next of kin
prove to be abortive and this has resulted to the delay of the payment
as no one has ever come to claim the funds on your behalf as a family
relative

for security reason, some information shall be withhold until you are
able to prove to us that you are still alive and your legitimacy over
this fact by providing your personal details and if you are related to
the late contractor for further investigation so as to avoid
revealing a vital and a crucial information to the wrong individual.
On this note I look forward to your urgent response ASAP

Regards,
Yours truly,
Noah Oliver
