"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello dear,

Greetings from Myanmar. Please can I trust you? My name is Anne Cordova. I am an American soldier serving in Myanmar. My squad was involved in some raid in some homes, offices, hotels and other hideouts of some sponsors of terrorisim here and during this raid, we recovered very huge amount of money stockpiled in most the houses we raided.

We shared some of the money among us that went to the mission and I got $970,000 from the deal. Please I seek your assistance to receive the money in your country as I cannot send it to USA because I am still active in the Army and may be dismmissed if I move it into my account. Do you understand?

I will send the money to your country through diplomatic company as a Military package due to exemption from inspection and customs procedures on diplomatic baggages, and when they arrive in your country the logistics will notify you through your phone number.

For registration and shipping, please provide the Receiver's details.
