"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello,

I hope you're doing well. My name is Judith, I bring to you a humanitarian project proposal request that I am interested in. However, I am writing this email to you with heavy sorrow in my heart, it's painful to let you know that I have been suffering from esophageal cancer and rare heart disease for the past 5 years, just a few weeks ago I was told by my doctor that I had only a little time left. I am contacting you because I don't have any other option but to open up to you about my project at hand. I know there might be some suspicion to this mail but I do plead with you to contact me for further information so as to erase any doubts and I promise you that you will not regret this.

Please get back to me for further information as I humbly await your response. Thank you for your consideration.

Stay blessed
Mrs. Judith R. Faulkner
