"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings,

I am surprised that you did not respond to my previous message till now. My
name is Mr. Zanders Okwu, I am a Nigerian and I work with First Bank
Nigeria Plc.

I have the sum of US$12.5 million deposited in our bank by one Engineer
Walter Amah who was a prominent and influential politician here. The money
was deposited for their Party primary election but unfortunately, the man
died in a motor accident before the election.

The party officials confronted the wife for the money but she denied
knowledge of the deposit. The wife Patricia Amah is critically ill with
Cancer and will want to invest the money abroad for her son Tony who is
still a minor. She is looking for who she can trust.

I will give you further details when I read from you. Please treat this as
classified. I apologize if you do not want my offer and probably your
reason for not responding to my previous email.

Regards,
Zanders Okwu.
