"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Pls Kindly let me know

Hello Dear,

I have written you before without getting any response as i believed my previous mail did not reach you, i'm seeking for your assistance to help retrieve the total of $2.2M USD deposited with the United Bank For Africa by my late husband.

I have to be brief, my late husband died in an auto car accident, i lost my only son 3 yrs ago and due to the fact that i do not have anyone to stand as the next of kin or appointed beneficiary, my husband's families are after my life because i refused to release any of the related document to them. They have made several attempt to kill me but miraculously i escaped and right now i'm in a remute village for my safety first.

I was advised by Mr Jiyam Nliji who work as Inter-Switch Manager with UBA, He has promised to help me if i can get a trusted fellow who can provide an account abroad. I'm ready and willing to give you 25% of the total sum if you can help me.

I will stop here till i hear further from you.

Your's faithfully
Mrs Glenna David
