"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I apologize if the content of my email is contrary to your moral ethics
but I find it pleasurable to offer you my partnership in business.
 
 
I am Captain Thlama Dawha, an officer in the US Army, I was serving in
the Military with the 82nd Airborne Division Peace Keeping Force here in
Syria. Due to the Coronavirus Spread, 129 U.S Marine Officers in Syria
were recently transfer to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Department (CDC) in West Africa.
 
 
I Was among the Officers Transfer to CDC Office in Africa to Control the
Safe Quarantine House were Infected COVID19 People are being kept. I was
able to meet with the Former Director Of Finance of Commonwealth West
Africa that has been infected with COVID19 and His Organs have been
severely damage by the Virus. He have just few weeks to live and Soon
Loose is Life because of the Damage done on his Body by this deadly
Virus.
 
 
He requested that I help him collect his last deposit of 5 Million
Dollars he kept in safe at Union Bank as his next of kin and dispatched
it to charity organizations. He want God to be merciful to him and
accept his soul and so, he have decided to give alms (MONEY) to charity
organizations, as he want this to be one of the last good deeds he does
on earth. he once asked members of his family to close one of his
accounts and distribute the money to Poor People but they refused and
kept the money to themselves. Hence, He do not trust them anymore, as
they seem not to be contended with what he have left for them.
 
 
I Contact you because I'm presently serving on duty now and I'm not
allow to leave the Restricted Base House in West Africa to carry out the
Last wishes of this dieing Man. I want you to help me collect this
deposit as the next of kin and keep it safe until I'm able to leave the
Base off-duty to meet with you. I have set aside 40% for you for your
time and patience. If you are willing to help me, Please reply on this
