"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: ANOMALIES ON YOUR FUND

From: The Presidential Committee on Asset Recovery (PCAR)
SUBJECT: ANOMALIES ON YOUR FUND TRANSFER.

We are the Presidential Committee on Asset Recovery (PCAR). Our committee is affiliated to FSA, UN, WORLD BANK and Our Liaison Desk is situated at the Aso villa, which oversees and inspects the fund movement pre-inspection for all Central banks and other ECOWAS member states.

My name is Michael Odell, a consultant with the UN. In view of my position as introduced and explained above, I have this privileged information for you out of sympathy to save your fund from a big problem.

THE BACKGROUND and THE REASONS OF SETTING UP THIS COMMITTEE, it may interest you to know that fund transfer irregularities and misconduct of huge sums of money out of Nigeria and other African countries by top government officials have created suspicions on any movement of large amount out of the continent. For this reason, the government of President Muhammadu Buhari (The African Union Chief corruption fighter ) and also the senate leadership of SENATOR AHMAD LAWAN (New Senate President) has passed a law that was signed by the president for all recovered asset to be returned back to beneficiaries and Consequently, our organization has been mandated to assist to monitor all fund movement out of Nigeria.

Therefore, this letter is highly confidential and top secret. For this reason, you must not inform anybody about this letter or my contact with you. You must keep my relationship with you to be topped secret and highly confidential due to the fact that the people who prevented you from receiving your funds all these years are a very tough cabal, whose professionalism is to deprive beneficiaries like you from getting their contract/inheritance fund remitted to them just for the sole purpose of diverting it for looting and sharing amongst themselves. If you can follow my advice and guidance, I will inform you the only way out for the dispatch of your fund peacefully without any further delay(s). But if you ignore my advice, your fund payment by bank transfer/ATM CARD will surely hit a brick wall and you will keep spending money, time and energy without any success until you forfeit the whole amount. The security Network in the USA, Europe, and Asia has requested us here in Nig!
eria to investigate your fund, whi

1. You must keep my relationship with you highly secret/confidential.
2. You must not expose all the above information to anybody.
3. You must be willing to act fast on any information, directives, and advice from me.

But if you expose this information, you will later blame yourself for it. The method for you to receive this fund is by cash at your doorstep, which further details on this arrangement will be furnished to you as soon as I have received your comments to carry on. By then, I will be in a good position to explain to you more on how to carry out the mission.

Yours Sincerely,

Michael Odell
