"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: MAY PEACE BE WITH YOU

I am Mrs, Dorathy Garby. A widow from Switzerland based in Burkina-Faso, I am suffering from Kidney cancer and I may not live long according to medical experts. I had no child and I am currently undergoing a great humiliation from my husband's relatives because I don't have a child,

Please, I want you to help me distribute the sum of Ten Million us dollars ($10,000.000.00) which I inherited from my Late husband to different orphanage homes, widows, and the less privileged people to fulfill the vow I and my late husband made to God. I want you to take 15% of the total ($10,000,000.00) “USD” for your efforts and use the remaining one as I stated, I will give you more details as soon as I hear from you. Writing from sick bed.

Looking forward for your response.

You’re Sister in the Lord

Mrs Dorathy Garby.
