"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

We also wish to inform you that the contract payment is
100% genuine and you have the lawful right to claim your
funds without any further delay. We would also want to inform
you that your funds have been transerred to the Federal Reserve
Bank here in the United States. We further advise that
you go ahead in dealing with the office of the Federal Reserve
Bank Atlanta accordingly as we will be monitoring all their
services with you as well as yourcorrespondence at all levels.

We were also made to understand that a lady with the name "Mrs.
Joan C.Bailey" from OHIO has already contacted them and also
presented all the necessary documentation to them, evidencing your
claim purported to have been signed personally by you prior to
the release of your contract fund valued at about US$10,500,000
(Ten million Five hundred thousand United States Dollars).
The Central Bank office did the wise thing by transferring your funds
to the Federal Reserve BAnk here in the United States pending
investigations while we contact you personally before they transfer
your funds to the Bank information which was forwarded to them
by the above named Lady.
