"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: MY APPRECIATION

Greetings,

I want to inform you that the $48.3M has finally been transfferred with the help of a new partner in Qatar. I want to thank and appreciate you for your financial commitments and support even at the most difficult time. I lost all contacts after the death of my parents but I was able to get your email via my personal google search with your name.

In appreciation, I left an open Certified Bank Draft worth US$3,200.00 (Three Million,Two Hundred Thousand United State Dollars) with my account officer James Green while leaving the country. Contact him via his email: officemail.jgreen1@gmail.com with your full names, mailing information including your mobile number.

Once again, I appreciate your kind assistance and hope this message gets to you. Remain blessed.

Marie-Anne Palmer
