"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

To put this right we will waive any overdraft fees and interest charges, as well as any returned item fees incurred during your March and April billing periods. We are also increasing the interest rate on our current account(s) & all Classic Plus account from 3% to 5%. We promise this will not be taken away after a year.

We have detected a slight error on your account personal information, we have been trying to contact you. However, we are unable to reach you. For your security, we have temporarily suspended access to your account(s). Such as (Receive payments, Make payments or withdraw funds). Until account verification procedures as been confirm.

 

This might be due to either of the following reasons:

1. A recent change in your personal information. (eg: address, phone)
2. Logging from an unrecognised machine or device
3. Too many incorrect login attempt

You are now required to complete our account verification process before you can access your account(s). This should only take you a few minutes to complete and will help us in safeguarding your account information.
