"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: From. Mrs. Ellen Abram.

Dearest in the Lord,

I am Mrs. Ellen Abram, a widow suffering from long time illness
Cancer.
I am married to Mr. Albert Abram, he died in a fatal car accident; we
were married for Eighteen years without a child, after his death I
decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home.

My late husband when he was alive deposited the sum of Two Million
Four Hundred thousand Dollars in his Bank, (US$ 2. 400.000.00) and
this money is still in the bank.

My late husband purpose for this fund is to use for charitable
development such as to build schools, orphanage homes, hospitals, etc,
which after his death I wanted to accomplish, But recently my Doctor
told me that I would not last for the next two months due to cancer
problem, having known my condition now I decided to look for an honest
and God fearing person that will use this fund for the same purpose of
my late husband.

I took this decision because I don't have any child to inherit this
fund, while my brothers in-law have sold many properties of my late
husband since after his death, and them knowing about this fund will
end this development.

I want God to be merciful to me and accept my soul, With God all
things are possible.
Please kindly reply if you will help me and use this fund for God's
work.

Remain blessed.
Mrs. Ellen Abram.
