"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: HI,SOMEONE WANTS TO MEET YOU

How was night? I hope your week has been great? My colleague seems to like your profile (smile) and all you wrote. He is widowed, and has been alone for a while now. He has fully recovered from the loss and actively seeking a companion, I was talking him into online dating, while taking him through the process I decided to show him how to search single ladies within his state. I have found a special someone here and will be closing my account.

Your profile came up in the search and he was pretty intrigued by your profile.. His name is John, he lives in your area but visiting us here you caught his attention and he complimented your pretty photos and remarkable profile. I'm not trying to paint him good but you could give this a try. I'm doing this because I believe in love and we never can tell where and when it would happen, that leap of faith is all that is needed.

He's a great guy. I found love here already and will be taking my profile out but Youdon't have to write back on this site but to him directly. He hasn't done the online dating, he doesn't like the bar scene either. I ask that you give it a try, he's an awesome guy and also good looking too. Please do not hesitate to contact him, he'll share pictures and more info about himself with you. His email is (jonnyscarbourough@yahoo.com) or SMS 503-447-5802 as he expects to read/hear from you.. I am sorry to bother you and i am sure you will brighten his day indicate your username to know it is your profile John went through. Please note that i am going againt the rules of the site by helping a friend to connect, so you might recieve a message from the site.

Regards,
Emy
