"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I have to write you to invest the sum of $55.5m for our client General
Metueeh who was incharge of the biggest Oil well in Europe before he
retired last year, he has directed me to look for a very trusted hand
to handle the investment for him and his family, hence I am contacting you,

To avoid paying the huge taxes the General have already sent an agent
to California America with the investment in a consignment as it is
very easy for the agent to handle over the consignment to you, so
confirm if you are able to handle the fund and invest it on any
lucrative business of your choice.

But do not reply if you have no financial capacity to handle the
transaction, if you know you can then confirm your mobile phone number
so the agent can call you..
Regards
David Kim
