"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Compliment of the season

Dear friend, accept my apologies if in any way this letter have find you in an unpleasant situation; it is because of my urgent need for an accredited partner that prompted me to contact you in this manner. My name is Rebecca Schieblle from South Carolina; I am serving with the 2nd Battalion, 8th Regiment Deployment in Afghanistan as a CW5 Sergeant.
 
I am contacting you because you have the same  last name with my Agent whom deposited  my achievements during my time at war here because I cannot officially do that by myself because of my position, so Im inviting you now that I am about to resign from the military service as the war here in Afghanistan is no longer in the favor of the U.S forces especially since the Trump Administration took over office and to settle down as a civilian; so that you can apply to the security company for the release of the fund to you as a relative to my agent since the guy died in an attack early last year during the humanitarian service in Syria.
 
I have all the documents and information to put up this claim but just that I cannot do that on my own and I need you because you have similar sure name to the guy; Ill be glad to receive your response regarding this letter so as for me to relay to you all further information to facilitate this business.
