"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Some comments by the Scam-O-Matic about the following email:

This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.

Since 2013 I was suffering from Adenocarcinoma lung cancer,and hearing impairments, i have being diagnosed with the adenocarcinoma lung cancer all this years, butÂ just recently my doctor just told me that I might not
survive because of the complications with the cancer because the cancer has reached a critical stage. For that reason I have decided to contact you as God fearing person to bequeath this Funds to you so that you can use the funds for Charity work, helping the Less Privileges, and 20% of this Funds will be yours for your time and effort you will put for this project, while 80% of the funds goes to charities, orphanage home and to help the poor. I have made this decision based on trust and youâ€™re understanding and I have no doubt about your capacity and your goodwill to manage this fund for this purpose

I want you to know that I have this Intentions because I' and my husband are orphan before we got married over 25 years ago, I do not have anybody that will inherit this fund if I did not survive as my doctor told me, as you can see my husband and my son is late. If I do not donate this fund to reliable person to carry out my desire, the Bank will
take over this fund, That is why I want to bequeath the fund to you this early so that you can use it as I directed here.
