"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Can I trust you?

Dear.

How are you today?. I know you'll be surprised to receive this mail
considering we have never met or known each other before.

My name is Miss Mina Salif Mohammed from Arab Republic of Libya in Africa,
presently I live in Dakar Senegal in a refugee Camp under the United Nation
as a result of the assassination of my parents by the Islamic States
Extremists in Tripoli . I am 25 years old lady 5.8" tall, I was a student
in the University before the death of my parents.

My late father's was Ahmed Salif Mohammed, he was was the chairman and
Chief Executive of AHMED SALIF Gold and Precious Minerals Investment plc
Tripoli Libya, before the Extremists Islamic States attacked our family one
early morning and killed him alongside my mother, with my younger brother.

I am the only remaining member of my family and I managed to make my way to
a nearby country Dakar Senegal where my late father had previous business
dealings.

My late father has many business dealings and interests in the West African
country of Dakar Senegal, and so after his death I discovered a CERTIFICATE
OF DEPOSIT DOCUMENT stating that he deposited a Big Trunk Box with BSTSN
FINANCE & SECURITY COMPANY SENEGAL.

There is also a personal letter address to me stating that he deposited the
sum of $4.7 Million USD cash, with 50 kilos of Golds dust and 14 440,000
Karate Diamond gem stones with BSTSN FINANCE & SECURITY COMPANY SENEGAL..

I am here in Dakar Senegal and I have contacted the Security and Finance
Company and they confirmed that my late father deposited a LOCKED-UP and
SEALED Big Trunk Box with them but the contents are undisclosed.

I told the BSTSN FINANCE & SECURITY COMPANY SENEGAL that I want the Trunk
Box released to me but they told me that my father left instruction that
the Trunk Box must be release to me with the company of a foreign partner.

In the written instruction my late father left for me, he said the reason
he did not disclose the contents of the TRUNK BOX to the Security Company
is to protect me as the only daughter and also to protect the family
treasure from criminals who may want to take advantage of me as a woman. He
left the KEY NUMBER of the TRUNK BOX with me and I have it here.

Now, I have chosen you to be my foreign partner, so if you're capable to
help me and retrieve the TRUNK BOX to your country and also help me and
relocate to your country, we will invest the cash, golds & Diamonds wisely.
I have made up my mind to offer you 15% out of the total family treasure
and also a partnership in my investment.

My plan is to send you the KEY NUMBER when the Security Company delivers
the TRUNK BOX to your house so that you will open it and take out some
money from inside and send to me to get prepared and join you in your
country, because right now, I'm suffering and having a difficult time
without any fiscal cash, we the refugees and the displaced people depend on
the United Nations for food and aid.

I am hoping that you will understand my current situation and help me, I
live in a women hostel inside the Camp here in Dakar Senegal and there's a
Reverend father who's in charge of the Church, this is this telephone
number of the Reverend father Elijah Moses 00221 70 786 3369, call me so
that we can discuss much better.

When you call, tell the Reverend father you want to speak to Mina from
Libya, he will send for me to come to his office and answer your call.

After I receive your mail, I'll send you my pictures and also the
Certificate of Deposit document.

Waiting for your reply.

Sincerely,
