"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Some comments by the Scam-O-Matic about the following email:

This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.

It is my pleasure
I read about you and i decided to contact you for a business that will benefit us,

I have $25 Million Us dollars (Twenty five million us dollars) to invest in your country.
The money was Deposited in a shipping Company with (3 Trunk) Boxes, this money was to invest in Dubai by my late Father and his Foreign partner, but my Father died after and i have been searching for my late father partner unfortunately i could not locate him.
I decided to invest this money in your country, we will not send this money through Bank,

The export company does not know that the Boxes contain Cash they only know that it content is Gold.

I will request for your address, so i can ask the shipping company to provide all necessary export documents that will cover the delivery of this 3 Boxes to your doorstep in your Country.
As soon you receive this 3 boxes you will open the boxes and take money from there open Bank account and deposit the entire amount into the Bank Account, i will fly down to your Country for both of to plan and invest this Money.
