"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Your Abandoned Package Important

Interim Assistant General Manager,
(Operations, Maintenance, Transportation)
Waterfront Plaza 8, 6th Floor,
Laganbank Road, Belfast, BT1 3LR
United Kingdom.

Hello ,

Your Abandoned Package For Delivery

I am Mr. Richard Meddings, head of luggage/baggage storage facilities (Operations, Maintenance, Transportation). During my recent WITHHELD PACKAGE routine check at the Airport Storage Vault, I discovered an abandoned shipment from a Diplomat from Africa and the scan revealed an undisclosed sum of money in a Metal Trunk Box weighing approximately 110kg. The consignment was abandoned because the Contents of the consignment were not properly declared by the consignee as "MONEY" rather it was declared as personal effect to avoid interrogation. The details of the consignment including your name, your email address and the official documents declaring you the beneficiary of the boxes

However, I will advise you provide your current Phone Number and Full Address, to enable me cross check if it corresponds with the address on the official documents including the name of nearest Airport around your city, as a matter of fact I will want you to send me the above information as it does not necessary matter anymore rather I will be in charge of the delivery of the boxes. I will not be able to receive your details on my official email account. So in order words to enable me cross check your details, I will advise you send the required details to my private email address for quick processing and response. Once I confirm receipt of your acceptance, you will be declare the ownership of the trunk box, I can get everything concluded within 48 hours upon your acceptance and proceed to your address for delivery.
The sharing modality will be 50% each for both of us and I will be paying some of my colleagues from part of my shares. I wait to hear from you as quickly as possible and I will appreciate if we can keep this deal confidential. Please get back to me via my private Email:( richmeddings60@gmail.com) for further directives.

Thanks,
Mr. Richard M.
