"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I look forward to your reply

Hello,

I work as a registered medical contractor for Nato and other humanitarian organizations here in Damascus, Syria. I do supply the following medical equipments: Hot Air Oven with Thermostat Indicator, X-Ray Film processor tabletop, X-ray Film Viewer, X-Ray Unit Universal, Suction Pump, Electrosurgical Unit (Monopolar-bipolar), Uterine Aspiration Set, Scale for newborn children, Lab ware, Lab Safety, chemicals etc.

I'm to receive an overdue payment of $5,500,000USD (five million, five hundred thousand US dollars) which is payment for contracts executed between August and December 2016, which I want to move out due to the current situation and war in Syria. This problem has made me to look for a partner to move out the contract payment out of Syria due to the economic meltdown and recession caused by the war.

My main aim of contacting you is to seek your assistance to serve as a receiving partner till I can conclude the remaining part of the medical contracts here. The most important thing is, can I trust you once the funds get to you? I will furnish you with more details upon receipt of your response and contact details. Please note that you will be entitled to a percentage of the total funds which will be discussed in due course of the transaction and it’s subject to negotiation.
I look forward to your reply and co-operation.

Regards,

Terriy A. Brunce
