"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I decided to contact you due to the urgency of my situation

My good friend,

Greetings, I am sincerely seeking your confidence in this transaction, which I propose with my free mind and as a person of integrity from God. I am writing this mail to you with serious tears in my eyes and great sorrow in my heart, I decided to contact you due to the urgency of my situation. My Name is Mrs. Amirah Akaleem, Am contacting you from my country Damascus,Syria. I am married to Akaleem Ala Al-Din, who was died in Sarin attacks on the Syrian town of Zamalka in Eastern Ghouta. After the attacks the Syrian government, under the threat of US military retaliation, agreed to the elimination of its chemical weapons but was able to keep its stockpiles of chlorine, which it has reportedly used in attacks on civilians. We were married for eleven years without a child. My husband died of chemical chlorine attacks in Syria. Which the Syrian government has used directly against civilians as a chemical weapon. when my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of $8.2 USD Million (eight million two hundred thousand dollars) with a bank in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Which he opens the account as no-resident account and made it available for exportation of cotton and Gold from Burkina mining.

The money still in the bank there. Recently, my doctor told me that I had a terminating illness (cancer) that I would not last for the period of three months due to the cancer problem. The one that disturbs me most is my stroke sickness. Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to either an organization or a devoted individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein. I want you to take 40 Percent of the total money for your personal use While 60% of the money will go to charity work" helping people in the street, orphanages and widows . My only heart desire now is that this funds be disbursed into different charity works as I have pledged to my creator whom I know I will meet some day sooner than later. That I am experiencing stagnancy or difficulty does not make me a pauper.

I want an individual that will use these fund to help orphanages and widows propagating the word of God and to ensure that the house of God is maintained. Because I grew up as an Orphan and I don't have anybody as my family member. I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an unholy manner. I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money. Hence the reason for taking this bold decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord. This sickness has suffered me so much. As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the bank in Burkina Faso, that's if you assure me that you will act accordingly as I Stated herein.

May God continue to guide and protect you.
Mrs. Amirah Akaleem
