"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dearest in Christ,

Dearest in Christ,

I'm Mrs.Lidiya Babinski Mahlangu but i am married to late  Mr.Dave Mahlangu who is a gold dealer here in South Africa for a period of 8 years before he died. I have a heavy heart and tears in writing to you but I wonder sometimes, is it absolutely a reason to give? I am currently hospitalized and my doctor tells me that I don't have more days to spend on earth because of my cancer illness. I wishes to donate my inherited funds to you. Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund for orphanages. I am a dying woman who has decided to donate the funds to the good work of charity.

When my husband was alive he deposited the sum of € 4.700.000.00 (four million seven hundred thousand Euro) in a bank here in South Africa. Currently this money is still in the vault of the bank here.

I understand that you know that millions of children around the world have been deprived of the warmth of tender touch of loving mother and serenity care of a father. In younger innocent and playful, these children were forced to mature quickly pushing adulthood for survival, and in many cases, take care of their younger siblings. My plan is to see this money is used for charity, help orphans, widows and the less fortunate.

As soon as I receive your reply I will give you the contact of the Bank in Johannesburg where this fund is deposited. I will also issue a letter of authorization to the bank that will prove you the present beneficiary of this money. I also want you to always uplift me in prayer.
Any delay in your reply may give me room to search for another good person for this same purpose.  Please assure me that you will act accordingly .

I expect to hear from you.

Yours sincerely
Mrs.Lidiya Babinski Mahlangu.
