"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello dear,

I serve with joint British and US troops in the Mideast.
During our previous operational offensive, investigation and scanning of huge confiscated consignments,it turned out to be stolen funds hidden by warlords.
Sorry to say that I used it as a scarce opportunity to plan for a better future, hence I secured for this purpose two trunk boxes valued about $25m USD deposited with classified codes with a view to be moved via diplomatic means overseas for safe keeping, disbursements and or investments.

I would like you to be my associate to assist in securing the funds for our mutual benefits. I have made overseas contacts through the UK, Africa and USA,that will help secure vital international certification and clearance to enable the funds legally arrive your bank account .
Please confirm your ability to receive and handle this project with respect and trust and send me your details so I can advise you further. Please email me or send your details to Jerry Buckman Esq. (the_lasl@lawyer.com) for directives.

Thanks .

Sgt. Kegley Brown
