"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello ,

 Hello Sir,

I am compelled to contact you due to a recent decision by the federal ministry of finance to confiscate funds in all dormant "non operational" account above10years,  my name is Chinenye Aku an accountant in G- finance company,  i am so much concern about this decision because, i have a deceased European oil contractor client who deposited $100 Million Dollars with our company.  He died while working with ELF petroleum Nigeria plc, and since after his death we have made several fruitless efforts to trace his family members or kith and Kins with a view to calming this money and repatriating same. But we cold not access ELF petroleum the employer due to their relocation from Nigeria to France.

Now that the situation is like this,  in other not to allow this whole fund be confiscated, i would like to request your assistance to enable us claim this fund and split, your position as a foreigner will facilitate the process.  To achieve this. Get-back to me for further detail.

However your urgent response will be appreciated.

Chinenye Aku.
