"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Some comments by the Scam-O-Matic about the following email:

An email address listed inside this email has been used in a known fraud before.
This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.
The following phrases in this message should put you on alert:
- "dear sir/madam" (a standard Nigerian greeting phrase)
- "here in united kingdom" (this email uses bad English)

This email lists free webmail addresses. Use of such addresses is typical for scams. Lotteries, banks and any but the smallest of companies do not normally use such addresses. Criminals use them to anonymously send and receive email at Internet cafes.

I am looking for a dependable individual that i can trust, someone who
will be willing and honest enough to carry out this transaction with
diligent to the best of her/his ability.

The board of directors normally sends me to India to purchase
Otapiapia2H, it is a product used to treat animals and to manufacture
some pharmaceutical drugs here in United Kingdom, The product is very
cheap in India compare to the price in U.S and Europe. A liter cost
7,500 USD to 9,000 USD while in India i only buy 2,500 USD per liter.
When I purchase the product at 2,500 per liter i always tell my
company that i bought it at the rate of 8,000USD. I have been coming
to India alone all this while but i canâ€™t come for now due to my
recent car accident and my company want to send somebody to buy this
product and they are asking me for the contact details of the dealers,
but I donâ€™t want them to know the actual price. If you can handle
this until i stand back on my feet. This is what i want you to do, i
will introduce you to the Indian dealers you will go there and buy the
product then i will introduce you to my company as the manufactures
and you will sell to them at the rate of 8000USD or even more they
need 100 to 1000 liters and they buy it like three times every year.

Our percentage sharing 50% for you and 50% for me please if you are
interested contact me for further step but if you are not, kindly
ignore this.
