"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Re:Humanitarian project on course

Hello dear,

It is my honor to write you this mail.I know that the good Lord who

has directed me to do so will give you the grace to carry on the

project.

I would like to make formal introduction about myself.I am Rev.Edmond

Jennings.I am from the United Kingdom.I am being confined to bed in

the hospital bed.It has been my desire establish humanitarian project

which i prayed for and hoped that it would work before my sudden

sickness that came like a surprise to me.

I am contacting you because i have deposited the sum of $7 Million USD

in a Vault in security company. This information is only known by my

lawyer as i warned him not to disclosed the information to anybody

until i find trusted person that will handle the humanitarian project.

I wish that this fund is used to help the ones who have been affected

by natural disaster which have affetced the lives of many in many

countries including yours and this is the reason i am contacting you.

I would like you to know that i prayed about this before contacting

you.I am seeking for your help to help establish humanitarian project

in your country.I want you to know that this fund will be brought to

your country without you making any effort to come here because i know

it will cost you something to make the trip unless you intend to meet

with the lawyer himself here.

So i am telling you this for you to know that i can;t walk on my own

now.I am writing you now with the help of the personal assistant

assigned to my ward here in the hospital.

I hope to hear from you.

>From yours faithfully,
Rev.Edmond Jennings.
