"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Business Proposal,

Dear Partner,

My name is Ryan Grattan, the chief corporate investment banker of a bank in United Kingdom. I most solicit your confidence in what I am about to tell you. This is by virtue of it’s nature as being highly confidential and urgent.

I am looking for a reliable and reputable person to handle a confidential business transaction. A leading businessman and statesman, a citizen of your country until his death, he banked and had a closing balance of Twenty-Seven Million United States Dollars in an escrow fixed deposit account with our bank.

Which the bank unquestionably expects to be claimed by any available foreign next of kin to the late beneficiary. Also I would want us to invest this fund in your country on properties, hotel or any lucrative business as you may choose. I would like to discuss with you in regards to this deal. Here are my contacts for further communication; Email:- ryangrattan25@gmail.com Tel: +447012995764

Best Regards

Ryan Grattan,
