"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hi Dearest,

How are you doing today?longest time,

I contact you once again hoping that you are well with family. This is to inform you that am now here in Scotland with my new partner who is also my fiancee, for my stay and our investment project. The said inheritance deposit I contacted you for last time has successfully been relocated to Scotland with the help of my fiancee which God sent to me. I remembered your past efforts to help me over the matter although your efforts was not enough.

Meanwhile, I find necessary to at least show you some appreciation by rewarding you because for me, you are special and your kindness to me will never be forgotten in a hurry. Therefore, I decided to give the sum of $600,000.00 (Six Hundred Thousand US Dollars) draft to you for your past effort and goodness me when I was suffering in Senegal.

Now contact Pastor Martins Jonas, to send you the draft to your address. I have given him instruction before I left and I believe that he must be waiting to hear from you to confirm that you are the right person to avoid any false claim.

Write to him and give your address to receive the parcel, a bank draft i issued in your name, among few other gift items i have mention above, just send me email immediately you receive it so that we shall celebrate it. Presently, I am very very busy on feasibility studies with my fiancee on some areas of investment here in Scotland and we hope to travel to Australia for the same purpose soon, so please do not expect to be receiving my emails often.
