"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Your Package Is Available For Clearance

Hello good morning

It’s me diplomat Anthony Pena, special diplomat appointed to escort delivery of your consignment from American Embassy in West Africa. Your consignment box has safely arrived Embassy Trucking & Shipping Cargo Center this morning and now undergoing inspection at immigration outfit Texas for final exit.

I have just confirmed my diplomatic license and ready to accompany your consignment box to your address, but there is a report from immigration officer that your consignment box maybe intercepted as Unacceptable delivery if you the beneficiary fail to purchase entry tag and place on your consignment box to permit free movement to your address.

This has been a delay presently because the tag on your consignment box only covered the shipment to this point and has no immunity to delivery at your scheduled address.

Having presented the necessary papers and clarified legitimacy of your consignment box and they are very much pleased with the papers and only requested for entry permit of your consignment box which I don't have on your delivery file here, this is the only delay am experiencing here.

Can you please see if you can meet me here at Embassy Trucking & Shipping Cargo, Dallas, Texas an ask for immigration outfit to clear your consignment for me to complete delivery to your address, I tried co-operating with them but do not have extra funds to purchase the entry permit tag, so I will like you to please come or should I verify the cost of the entry permit so can send for me to purchase it and maintain the delivery to your house today.

I am waiting for your urgent response with a solution to this present delay. Thanks for your kind understanding as I can't wait to meet you.

Yours in service,

Mr. Anthony John Pena
Special Diplomat to The American Embassy
