"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Agriculture Loan

Dear Friend,

I need your assistance towards investing a loan I applied some years
back to be used for agriculture with a foreign partner. Now the loan
has been approved and the Government and bank want to contact my
foreign partner as I stated while filing my application form then,
though I had a Libyan partner but he dead during their crisis, so I am
sourcing for a new partner to enable me replace him and secure the
release of the loan. Read here:

Furthermore, the total amount of loan I applied and it was approved is
USD2.850million, because of the huge sum, the loan was delayed for
eight years and was just approved this month. If this proposal
interests you, more details will be made available to you. Kindly
reach me through this Telephone 98569648.

Kind Regards,

Mr. George Mancou.
