"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello I am writing this mail with tears and pains, hoping that my situation will touch your heart for you to come for my rescue. I know this letter might come to you as a surprise because we have not met each other before, I am Miss. Moyina Ghazi Al-Sadiq, 19yrs old Female a citizen of South Sudan,East Africa . My father Engineer Ghazi Sylvia Al-Sadiq was the former federal Minister of Guidance and Endowments and other Top government officials among 32 killed in plane crash on 19, 08, 2012. Meanwhile before the death of my father he deposited a sum of Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollar ($4.5M) in one of the banks here in Burkina Faso, and my step-mother and uncle are fighting to claim the money without my knowledge. I traveled down to Burkina Faso to withdraw some money so that I can relocate to another country and start a better life and further my study. the very night I arrive to Burkina-Faso unluckily i fail into the hands of criminals that took my belongings,phone,cash,passport and other important belongings and finally the police found me and moved me to refugee camp, and after so many problem i visited the bank where my father made the deposit and the Branch manager of the Bank whom I met in person told me that because of my refugee status i can not withdraw any money, but he advised me to present a trustee who will stand on my behalf to claim the fund and that is the reason why am contacting you to help me. Meanwhile, You will help me to a place where the money will be establish into a very good more profitable business venture in your Country. Moreover, you will also help me by recommending a nice University in your country so that I will complete my studies. I am willing to offer you 30% of the total fund once the bank transferred the fund into your account. Do not be surprise that I am sending you this kind of letter without knowing you too well, l will tell you more when l hear from you, I have also discussed with the bank manager and he promised to help me to transfer this money out from Burkina Faso when l get somebody who i trust to assist me, l want you to be honest with me that is all l need from you please.Please do keep this only to yourself.
