"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings…

Sir,

I am Farouk Mustapha, the bill and exchange manager in the foreign department of the National. Bank of Abu Dhabi in united Arab Emirate I write to establish a business deal which I discovered in my department, this business deal is based on trust, confidentiality and sincerity of purpose in order to have an acceptable meeting of the minds.

There is a customer of this bank who died with his entire family in Air Mishap in May 22, 2010, and all those who are suppose to be the next of kin died along side with him leaving no next of kin.check the website( http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/list-of-passengers-on-air-india-express- flight/article435569.ece) and his name is Narayana Kanthav Rao

I contacted you so you can claim the fund as the next of kin to the deceased person because only foreigners can put claim to the funds. The banking law stipulates that after three (3 ) years and nobody comes for the funds, the funds will be declare as UN CLAIMED BILL and return to the BANK TREASURY AS UNCLAIMED BILL the sum of the fund is US$12.4M. Since no body is coming as his relative, I decided to contact you for a deal so that we can work together as a team to remit the money to your account as next of kin since I do not want to see the funds called back to the bank treasury as an unclaimed bill.

All I require from you is your honest co-operation to enable us see this deal through.
I guarantee that this transaction will be executed under a Legitimate banking arrangement that will protect you from any breach of law, it is risk free and all arrangement has been perfected for this deal.

Upon successful conclusion of this project, you will be compensated with 45% of the total fund, while 55% will be for me, and which I will like to invest my share in your country where you will take care of my investment.

I await your urgent reply.

Yours faithfully,

Farouk Mustapha
