"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

                                 A Confidential Proposal

Attn: Director/CEO

Dear Sir

Before I proceed, I must first apologize for this
unsolicited mail to you. I am aware it is certainly not a conventional way of
approach to establish a relationship of trust, but you will realize the need
for my action. Actually, I got your contact information through the public
records while searching for a possible heir to my late bank customer, Mr.
Rock Freeman. He was an expatriate engineer and a mining magnate. He died
with his wife in Egypt Air Flight 990 plane crash in October 1999. He was
unable to nominate any beneficiary or heir of his funds before his death.

I am seeking your cooperation to present you officially to our bank as the only surviving
next-of-kin and heir of late Mr. Rock Freeman, to re-profile his account and
transfer an amount of £10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Pounds Sterling) into your
overseas account for investment purposes.

This golden opportunity arose during our bank’s periodic audit of accounts, and
unclaimed funds in the domiciliary account of late Mr. Rock Freeman were found. In
terms of our bank’s policy, the funds must be transferred to our bank's
suspense account by February 2014, if a claim is not initiated or filed within
the next 45 days. Against this backdrop, my proposal is to present you to our
bank to stand as the only surviving next-of-kin and heir to late Mr. Rock Freeman
and request for the claim and transfer of the funds.

This opportunity will be beneficial to both of us and I have worked out all
modalities to secure a successful completion of the transaction. It is within
my authority in the bank to regularize and approve vital paper
works that will legally place you as the only surviving next-of-kin and heir to
late Mr. Rock Freeman, and also have the bank release the funds to you
within the next 45days.

Note that this transaction is 100% risk free and
there are no risks or obligations for any unsuccessful claim. I guarantee that
it will be executed under a legitimate arrangement without any breach of the
law. Once the transfer is completed to your account, we shall share in the
ratio of 50% for me and 50% for you as your benefit. I urge
you for your full cooperation in this quest, and also to maintain an
appreciable level of confidentiality, especially considering my position in the
bank. The transfer shall be done officially and in the most secure manner while
observing all standard banking procedures.

Upon receipt of your response declaring your interest,
I will provide you with more details and my private telephone number to expedite our communication.
Should you be able to cooperate and assist, please be kind to inform me as a matter of urgency.Reply me with this email addresss: dr.davidsmith@outlook.com

Yours
faithfully,
David Smith
