"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Inquiry for Assistance.

Good Day,

I am Ahmed Musa, Notary Public's and overseas funds disbursement agent to Mr.
Gamal Ei Sayed Mubarak; he is the son of former Egyptian President, who is
currently in imprisonment. He had secretly assigned me to facilitate transfer
some fund to overseas for safe-keeping for him, few days into the 2011 Arab
Spring/Revolution, sensing the eventually toppling of his father's government.

I eventually move the actual fund successfully out of Egypt to a safe place in
overseas; when I came back he gave me $14.6Million as gratification for job well
done. I successfully secured bulk of the fund in Iron Box and deposit it as
“family treasures”, in a coded storage houses in Dubai-UAE.

During the 2011 Arab Spring/Revolution in Egypt, I lost my father and mother whom
are close associates to Ex-President, Hosni Mubarak during the crises. Their
death prompted me to quickly seek for political asylum in England.

Recently, I actually requested for the iron box to be delivered to me in England,
but I was told by the official of the storage house that they can’t go beyond
Asia and Africa. Right now, I can’t travel out of England because of my political
asylum.

Meanwhile, I have concluded arrangement with the Dubai-UAE storage house and they
are ready to make deliver of this iron Box to my nominated Proxy Beneficiary.
Thus I am proposing to present you as the nominated proxy beneficiary and my
trustee to help me receive this initial consignment $14.6Million on my behalf;
with 30% offer to you for your assistance.

If you are interesting to assist me, simply send, your (1) Full Name (2).
Telephone number (3). Contact Address/ Country (4), Occupation (5), your identity
Card or National driver’s license. For the official to make use of it to expedite
delivery of the iron box to you.

Your earlier respond will be highly welcome.

Best Regards,
Ahmed Musa.
