"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: You Authorize him to Claim your US$750,000 ATM card ???

Mike Anderson Financial Corp
78 Ragumpa Prasad Road,
New Delhi, India.

Hello customer,

This is to bring to your notice that an ATM card was deposited in my care by UN to be delivered to you . Since I lost your delivery address and have been waiting for you to contact me, but you didn't.

Yesterday Evan Callaway of 100 Wood Neosho, MO 64850 contacted by e-mail saying that you have authorized him to pay the delivery fee of US$75 and I should send the ATM card to him once he pay the US$75.

My question now is "DID YOU AUTHORIZE him to pay the US$75 and have the ATM card delivered to him? You urgent answer is expected as I will have no choice than to deliver to him the ATM card once he pay the US$75.

The UN made me to understand that the ATM card contained US$750,000 only.

I look forward to your reply asap.

Thank you.
