"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello,

Hello,

My name is Madam Linda Dikko, from Finland. I am married to Dr Eric Dikko, Having no family because my husband and I had no children before his death,so I took the decision to leave all of my heritage which is 5.5 million dollars to a charity organization or an individual with a good character so that the money used to build an orphanage, hospital or any other actions in the field of Charities to Children disinherits.I need a very honest and God fearing Christian that can use this funds for God's work and 30% out of the total funds will be for your compasation for doing this work of God.

I want my money be invested wisely so that all actions can be sustained. These funds are in a bank here in Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire where I currently reside. If you are of good character or know of a charity organization or a person working for the underprivileged and children with the fear of God please contact me as soon as possible because I am very weakened by a disease and do not know if I will keep the 2 months which I have been given.

I know this may not earn me the gates of paradise, but at least my conscience will now be at peace knowing that I contribute a little to make this world a better place for the less priveledged.

Am waiting for your responce,

May God bless you
Mrs Linda Dikko
