"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

ATTENTION: BENEFICIARY.
 
 
The Clearing House Association L.L.C. ("Association") and its affiliate, The Foreign Payment Committee.("Payments Co") (FPCBOG") and one of its member banks, JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A, are pleased to comment on the final payment release of your unblocked fund, $8.5million, through the Payments Co, as approved by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (FRB) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). This development was as a result of Compliance Procedures to the laid down regulations by the treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) met on and for your behalf, by your assigned financial representative and partner, Mr. Richard Salazar of the United States of America, concerning your blocked fund, therefore obtaining Unblock Release License issued and signed by Secretary of the Treasury.
 
In lieu of the issued payment release mandate from the treasury's OFAC, the Payments Co, thus instructed the Clearing House Interbank Payments ("CHIPS") payment message conveyed via S.W.I.F.T MT2O2 COV to its member bank, JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A, to further credit the funds into your account. And as seen on our file, the account presented to us by your partner and financial representative's, Mr.Richard Salazar.
 
Meanwhile, the OFAC payment instructions advises that the funds should be credited to

We wish to have your approval and confirmation concerning the advised account, to ensure if you are aware of the receiving account, because according to records, you gave Mr. Salazar the permission and authority to claim the funds on your behalf. Please get back to me immediately, as we have only 24-hours to expedite the transfer of the $8.5million into the advised account.
