"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

Hello Dear

I got your email address through the Internet p/s Permit me to introduce myself and inform you of my desire of going into business relationship with you.

Am Ms Desiree Amanda from Abidjan Cote d'ivoire. the first daughter of late Mr.and Mrs.Amanda. My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant and a traditional ruler of my Dukwe community befor his death,  he died as a result of the gun shot he sustained during my country bloody political crisis 2010/2011 that claimed the lives of so-many people here in my community. My mother died when I was still a baby.

Before my father was taken to the theater at a private hospital here in Abidjan where he was admitted  to remove the bullets that got lodged in his chest, he secretly called me on his bed side and informed me that he has the sum of five million, two hundred thousand United State Dollars. USD($5.200 O00,00) in a suspense account in one of the prime bank here in Abidjan ,that he used my name being his first child as the tradition here demands for the right of inheritance in depositing the fund. He also explained to me that it was because of this wealth that he was targeted by his business associates during the crisis since he was not a politician.

Unfortunately he couldn't make it through the operation as he died on the 26th of march 2011. But before he passed away he instructed me to seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where i will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose such as real estates, and due-to my father been a traditional ruler was married to many wife's in-line with our custom here, after his death my family has been engulfs with fierce inheritance disputes which has claimed the live of my younger brother. for this i will like this funds to be transfered out of this country as soon as possible Dear , I am crying, and seeking for your kind assistance in the following ways.

(1) To provide a safe bank account into where this money will be transferred out of this country as soon as possible.
(2) To serve as a guardian of this fund since I am only girl of 18 years old
(3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my education and to secure resident permit for me in your country.

Dear i am willing to offer you 15% of the total sum as compensation for your effort after the successful transfer of this fund to your country. Furthermore, you can as well indicate your options towards assisting me, I do believe that this transaction would be concluded within a short period you signify your interest to assist me. i will appreciate your kind response.

Best regards from
Ms Desiree Amanda
