"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

As-Salāmu â Alaikum wa-Ramatullāhi wa-Barakātuhu,
I know my mail might be a surprise to you but never mind because I am contacting you in good faith. However, accept my sincere apologies if it doesn't meet your personal ethics,
I am Ms. Sarah Farmer Koné, the devoted widow of Late Elkayal Koné who used to be a renown business man before he was killed on March 2011 by rebels during the Cote d’Ivoire political crises.
While alive, my husband deposited the sum of $3.7million (Three Million Seven Hundred Thousand U.S Dollars) in a renowned financial security company in Abidjan, (I'll give you the Bank details when more trust has developed.)
However, for some months now I've been staying in the hospital (Cancer center) due to complicated cancer and fibroid problem, and at present, my Doctor confirmed to me that I have little chance to life due to the nature and complications associated with the sickness, so I eventually decided to donate the fund to the leader of the Muslim community where I and my husband lived.

However, the Grand Imam in the North-Central region had recently received information that my late husband Elkayal lived an immoral and lewd life, hence my donation was considered to be tainted since I inherited it from my husband. The Grand Imam now rejects it, but I know that it may be connected to his different political view from that of my husband during the political uprising in the country.
I believe that judgment belongs to Allah.

On this note, I've decided to donate this fund to a Help foundation, Moslem organization or devoted Muslim individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instructs herein.
I want this Muslim organization or individual to use this money in all sincerity to fund mosques, orphanages, widows, and also propagate the word of ALLAH and to ensure that the society upholds the views and belief of the Holy Quran. The Holy Quran emphasizes so much on ALLAH'S benevolence and this has encourage me to take the bold step since I don't have any child that will inherit this money and my husbands brother who is an Atheist lives abroad and doesn't care or show any interest in my family. I know that after death I will be with ALLAH the most beneficent and the most merciful...INSHA' ALLAH.
With ALLAH all things are possible. The habitual inclination to give rather than take in life (Infaq); is the basis for my Sadaqah. I want you and the Muslim community where you reside to always pray for me.
My happiness is that I lived a true devoted Muslim life worthy of emulation. Whosoever that wants to serve ALLAH must serve him in truth and in fairness. Please always be prayerful all through your life.
May the Almighty ALLAH continue to guide and protect you.

Best regards
Sarah.
