"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir,
My name is Mr. Nana Yaw from Atuabo village Tarkwa western region Ghana,i
am in search of a reliable person, I also wish to write you this letter
with believe to establish business relationship with you. I want to know
if you can help my family in generating the stated mining equipment
machines , we come to agreement and negotiated with an Agent (Broker) who
assisted us to contact a buyer from the United States of America to buy the
gold based on CIF, meaning cost in freight.

The Agent propagated shipment to the United States with his money and
contacts to USA because we are not full into exportation we are local
miners in the rural area, ever since he arrived USA with some 57kilos of
gold since few days ago, unfortunately before the Agent arrived the United
States with the Gold, the buyer has been declared bankrupt by his local
bank, and so he was not able to buy the gold.Our initial contract agreement
with the buyer is that the Agent will facilitate shipment, when the gold
arrives, the buyer will send money to the Agent for Airport customs
declaration over there in USA and clearance so that the Agent will clear
the gold and deliver it to the buyer's nominated refinery in USA.

The Agent is currently in North Carolina, United States of America with the
57 kilos of gold, please our proposal is, if you are interested in buying
the gold,declear your phone numbers, the Agent will contact you and detail
you on the clearance at the USA airport customs to release the Gold and
then you will advice the agent how he can transfer the gold to your
nominated address as the owner in USA.

Our initial price with the agent in USA is $35,700 Per Kilo, the purity is
96.8 and the carat is 22+, after smelting for Assay, you will get 23+ carat.
Mode of payment can be negotiated thereafter.
