"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am David Lee, I am write you to seek your partnership and your assistance to help me transfer my funds the sum of Six million five hundred thousand dollars (US$6.5m) that I inherited from my late father, here in Ivory Coast, I will like to transfer the funds to you in your country for investments and conttinuation of my studies in your country , I am just 20 years of age and I do not really know what to do and I want an account overseas where I can transfer this funds, This is because I have suffered alot of set backs, the death of my father has really brought sorrow to my life and my both parents are dead, my mother died when I was two years old. However I will need your assistance as below : (1) to proviede a safe bank account informations where the money will be transfered for investment (2) to serve as a guardian of this funds since I am only 20 years old,(3)to make arrangrment for me to come over to your country to further my education and to secure a resident permit for me in your country,I have decided to offer you 20% of the total amount for your willingness to help me,I await your urgent response so that I can give you more details.
