"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

WEST AFRICAN STATES (ECOWAS) and I sign to deliver your Metal Trunk
boxes to you.



I arrive John F. Kennedy International
Airport JFK New York this Afternoon,and will like to fly down direct to
your locations and deliver your consignment box

with the Reference CODE: FMP232BN, REG: 0229BJ and Batch Number 55674
to your home address today, Please make sure you wait for me at home
because my boss instructed me to make sure I deliver your box direct to
you.



The only problem delaying me here now is that New York customs service
here in New York International Airport, they request for customs permit
to prove that your consignment box is legal approve from Cotonou
International Airport, Benin Republic in Africa which is the origin
country of your consignment box.

 

I quickly contact Cotonou
International Airport, Benin Republic, for the document and I was told
that it will cost you $68, to obtain the document and Fax to me here in
New York.
