"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings to you, My Name are George Atia Garba; I am the only Son to Mazuk Atia Garba a politician and a previous member of Libya's executive committee on contract awards. I am 17yrs old boy from Libya my Father my Mother was killed by rebels upon the Crisis in Libya. I run to Niger Republic with the help of American Red Cross for my security and I am now in a Refugee Camp.

My purpose of connecting you is to crave your indulgence to assist me in securing some consignment, for safe keeping which I incidentally inherited from my family. My consignment contains ($11) Eleven million United States dollars. The consignments are presently in South Africa. The consignment gets to South Africa through the help of a U.N Diplomat Dr. Wale Williams.  The fact is that Wale Williams is supposed to have delivered this consignment to Mr. Jeffery Abramson in South Africa.

The week Dr. Wale Williams was supposed to deliver the consignment to him, when He got to South Africa after clearing the consignment from the Airport, he call Mr. Jeffrey Abramson to give him the description to his house for the delivery, but his house helper answered the call and told Dr. Wale Williams that Mr. Jeffery Abramson had a fatal car accident which lead to his death.

Mr. Jeffrey Abramson has already assisted us in getting the paper work use in getting the consignment through customs, which is so expensive that he spent allot and thousands of dollars to acquire it, but unfortunately he died in a car accident, that was why Dr. Wale Williams has to deposit the consignment with a ware house over there in South Africa and inform me about what is happened. Please I seek for you to stand as my Distance Beneficiary/ Trustee Partner to get in contact with the Diplomat so that He can be able to deliver the Consignment to you.

I want you to know that you will be very happy if you give it attention and help me receive this consignment. I believe you as a person I can trust, and I do appreciate your offer to work with me on this transaction. The most important thing is getting the Consignment out of the ware house and changing the owner's name to yours. If you co-operate, you will be entitled to 15% of the total consignment and also the option of managing the consignment (Money) until I need it. All about this transaction is risk free.

Please, get back to me immediately, with the following Details full Name, Address, Company Name, Position in Company, Age, Telephone, Cellphone. Upon hearing from you through my email address: (geogarba17@blumail.org) I need to sign an MOU (Memorandum of understanding) with you which will be a legal binding document between us before I proceed with you. And give you the full details of the U.N Diplomat Dr. Wale Williams. I await your kind response.

Thanks. Yours Truly,

George Atia Garba
