"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam
The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.
Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.
Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Some comments by the Scam-O-Matic about the following email:
- An email address listed inside this email has been used in a known fraud before.
- This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.
- This email message is a 419 scam. Please see our 419 FAQ for more details on such scams.
- This email lists free webmail addresses. Use of such addresses is typical for scams. Lotteries, banks and any but the smallest of companies do not normally use such addresses. Criminals use them to anonymously send and receive email at Internet cafes.

Good day,
I am contacting you because I am looking for a partner in the realization of a project. First of all I would like to introduce myself, I am Leonard Kent I live in Accra Ghana and practicing as an attorney at the Akwaaba Solicitors.
My late client Uwe Gembella has filed documents about his fortune with me before he passed away suddenly in an accident. His assets amount to $ 120 million U.S. dollars which is yet to be claimed. I'll give you more information as soon as I know I can trust you with this secret. In this links below you will learn the circumstances to the death of my late client Uwe Gembella:

Here's my offer: I will declare you as the beneficiary of the fortune Prior to your cooperation, I'll give you 40% of this assets. Since I am the lawyer of the deceased there is no problem to obtain all the necessary documents needed to confirm you the beneficiary within a short time and to also submit all the necessary paper works to the investment firm for the release of the beneficiaries to your favour. Since my client died I ve being asked to submit his will as mention in the deed of contract which must bare the name of the new beneficiary but unfortunately Mr. Gembella has left no will, so I need a heir as soon as possible. I can name a beneficiary but if I fail to meet up with the time given the inheritance will eventually go to the government as an unclaimed and everything will be lost.
As I said if the transaction is successful you will get 40% of the total 60% goes to me. Let me know if you think you are capable to be part of this great opportunity. You can answer me back at this e-mail address: (kentleo22@gmail.com)
Please reply back even if you have no interest so as to enable me to continue in my search.
However if you should have interest I will be pleased to have found someone to help me in the claming of the inheritance so that the fortune will not be lost.
I would like to advice you for security reasons please respond only to this e-mail.
Sincerely,
Leonard Kent
