"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This email is to notify you about the release of your outstanding payment valued at US$9.9 million. The British Government scheduled a time frame to settle all foreign debts which includes Contract/Inheritance/Gambling/Lottery and other internal loans. News had it that over, that  past, numerous individual(s) who happen to be impostors (claiming to be individuals, banks and organizations) are claiming to release numerous sums of fund via numerous ways.
 
With the help of Interpol and Economic and Financial Crime Commission to commence we have noticed that you have being asked to pay outrageous amount of money by these impostors for the transfer of your funds to you, which turn out to be endless journey. We want you to stop all communication that has to do with these fraudsters who have been requesting unreasonable sums of money from you to release your funds which they do not have access to.
 
We have received a mandate and instructions from President Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Jonathan Ebele Goodluck, Economic and Financial Crime Commission to commence the immediate release of your funds through the following payment option stated below:
 
1. Payment via Automatic Teller Machine (ATM card): In this mode of payment you will be sent an Automatic Teller Machine card also known as ATM Card (Debit Card issued by MasterCard). Upon receipt of your ATM card you will be allowed to withdraw $10,000.00 daily by default and you are given the option to increase withdrawal limit of your card to the maximum range of $20,000.00 if you so desire.
 
You are advised to communicate with the payment officer immediately you read these email to enable us arrange the delivery to your destination. Your ATM card will be shipped via standard overnight express delivery through a reputable courier company and would get to you within 48 hours at most.
 
DO NOT SEND MONEY TO ANYONE UNTIL YOU READ THIS: The actual fees made for shipping your ATM card is $145.99 because FedEx have temporarily discontinued the C.O.D which gives you the chance to pay when package is delivered for international shipping as stated on their website: http://fedex.com/us/international/irc/profiles/irc_ng_profile.html?gtmcc=us#C10  We had to sign contract with them for bulk shipping which makes the fees. You are advised to contact the dispatch officer responsible for the shipping of your ATM card with the following information for shipping of your payment ATM card to your doorstep.

Note that the actual FedEx delivery charges is: $145.99, but was reduced to $110 due to the contract we sign with the company for bulk shipping:  ($30.99 Savings!).
