"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Please forgive me to contact you in this manner on this great business proposal I am MR MOHAMED DANJUMA. the accountant officer to Late Mr Erik a nationality of your country, who used to work as the Director of Société Nationale de Commercialisation des Produits Pétroliers (SONACOP) Oil Company in Benin Republic West Africa,herein after shall be referred to as our customer.On Friday, 26th May 2006, my client and his entire family were involved in Benin petrol tanker explosion incident as people were siphoning petrol, the explosion result lost of life killing at least 54 people and many injured including my client and his entire family as they where driving home for weekend shopping on visiting their site where

people were siphoning petrol, the tanker caught fire and explode. My client and his entire family was among the last 16 people that died.

After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to track his last name over the Internet, to locate any member of his family, hence I contacted you. I have contacted you to assist in repatriating the money and property left behind by the deceased before they get confiscated or declared unserviceable by the security company in INDIA . These huge deposits were lodged particularly, with an affiliate security company in INDIA where the deceased deposited the $10.4 million Dollars as African Treasury so the security company did not know the content of the Safe Box because our late client deposited the box as African Treasury.





The security company in INDIA has issued a notice to provide the next of kin or have the Safe Box confiscated, and since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over 4 years now. I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased since you have the same last name so that the security company in INDIA will proceeds the delivery of the Safe Box that contains the $10.4 million Dollars to you then after you received the box you and me will share the money 60% for me and 40% for you.
