"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My Dear Friend, Please reply urgent.

Firstly, I grave your indulgence in sending you this rather sensitive information via e-mail instead of a certified post-mail. Well my name is Mr. Martens Sonia Garant, personal attorney of Mrs. Klein based here in Cote d’Ivoire, I did a lot of web search before choosing your contact from your country's website and business online register. It is with trust and sincerity that I approach you for assistance in this business.

Please do accept my apology if my mail infringes on your personal ethics and honestly it will be my humble pleasure if we can work together.

I would like you to act as an executor of Mrs. Klein my deceased client who made a deposit of ($6.5m) with Finance bank here in Cote d’Ivoire a few years back. She died in Plane crash with his wife and only child leaving behind no next of kin. And a citizen of my country can not stand as her next to Mrs. Kin, which is why I contacted you too.

Dear friend I am ready to share 50/50 with you, if you are interested mail me immediately for further details in this great future relationship.

Regards,

Mr. Martens Sonia Garant.
