"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

The reason of contacting you is of utmost importance and must not be delayed. I am Ahmed Alkali contacting you due to the emergency nature of the situation which needs urgent attention.
Mrs. Turai Yar’Adua, the wife of the Late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua, has been confined at the Presidential Villa since the death and burial of the Husband, even at the illness of our father, she was not allowed out of the villa to see the father who was flown to Egypt for treatment.

She confided in me of the Governments actions stripping her of all acquired assets and all deposited cash, foreign bankers has complied to return back the deposits, the bank accounts in Nigeria have been frozed and still she is been kept in surveillance at the villa.
As it is she gave me the information of a foreign based bank outside Nigeria where there are cash deposits which i prefer not to mention the amount here hence in due time.
